Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and the controls you have. Last updated May 2026.
1. What we collect
We collect the minimum information needed to operate the platform — your name, contact details, location while you have the app open, booking history, and payment data we need to process transactions. Providers also submit identity documents and credentials as part of verification.
2. How we use it
- Match customers with nearby verified providers.
- Process payments and resolve disputes.
- Send booking, safety, and account notifications.
- Detect fraud and abuse and keep the platform safe.
- Improve the service — never to sell to advertisers.
3. Who we share with
We share data only with parties needed to run the service — payment processors, SMS providers, mapping services, and cloud hosting providers. We do not sell your data. We may disclose information when required by Philippine law or a valid court order.
4. Your controls
- Access and download your data from the app.
- Correct inaccurate information at any time.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Opt out of marketing communications.
5. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. Financial records are retained for five years to comply with BIR requirements. Deleted account data is purged within 30 days.
6. Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, restrict employee access on a need-to-know basis, and operate under standard industry security controls. No system is perfect; if we detect a breach affecting your data we will notify you within 72 hours.
7. Children
ICT Services is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Data Privacy Act
This policy is designed to comply with Republic Act No. 10173 (the Data Privacy Act of 2012). To exercise any of your rights under the Act, contact our Data Protection Officer at [email protected].
